Hope After Rape (HAR) is a registered women founded NGO formed in 1994 as a result of concern about the increasing number of reports of child sexual abuse , rape, HIV/AIDS and other forms of gender based violence. The organisation is committed to the promotion of women and children’s health and rights with emphasis on capacity building programmes on issues of child abuse , HIV/AIDS, livelihood and Gender Based Violence as well as provision of support and care services to survivors of abuse.

Currently HAR geographical focal areas are in the regions of Mbale, Teso and Central. Read More..
